Northman King of Rohan born in 2948 of the Third Age. he
was a good strong
King until he fell under the influence of Grima Wormtongue who was controlled by
Saruman the Wizard of Isengard. In 3019, Gandalf roused him, and he fought at
the battle
of Hornburg and Pelennor fields where he was mortally wounded. He was given a
hero’s
death by daring to stand against the Witch-King.
