Bilbo Baggins
The hobbit, born in 2890 in the Shire. Was a bachelor who
lived in Bag
End. In 2941, Gandalf the Wizard and 13 dwarves came to him for a quest that
resulted
in the death of Smaug the Dragon. Having won a share of the dwarven gold, he
returned
with his prize possession a magic ring that made him invisible. It was later
revealed that
the ring of Bilbo’s was really the One Ring. The ring was given to his nephew
Frodo, and
he moved to Rivendell. He wrote his memoirs called “There and Back again.”
After the
War of the Ring Bilbo went sailed off with Frodo to the Undying Lands.
